For months, Mueller has been zeroing in on the longtime GOP strategist Roger Stone and his associates, and whether Stone or any other Trump associates had advance knowledge that Russian Federation had stolen batches of emails from the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton's campaign and disseminated them via WikiLeaks, the pro-transparency group founded by Julian Assange.
He said he expects to be indicted by Mueller "for some form or other of giving false information" in the probe despite doing everything he could to cooperate.
Meanwhile, Corsi associate and political operative Roger Stone last week revealed that Mueller is probing "whether I somehow directed or urged Wikileaks to release the allegedly hacked e-mails from the DNC in the wake of the Billy Bush accusations against Trump on October 7". "I think my crime, really, was that I dared to support Donald Trump", Corsi said. However, both Giuliani, Trump's acting lawyer, and Peter Carr, a spokesman for the special counsel, declined to comment.
He referenced a statement by political scientist and "ObamaNation" author Dr. Jerome Corsi, in which he said he expected to be indicted by Mueller soon. "But I'm going to be criminally charged", Corsi said Monday.
Gaza militant groups agree to ceasefire if Israel halts attacks - Palestinian officials
During the pursuit, Israeli aircraft carried out bombardments to cover the withdrawal of this force. Many local residents had reportedly fled after calls to evacuate, witnesses said.
Stone, a GOP strategist and former adviser to Donald Trump, was under scrutiny by the special counsel for his connection with Julian Assange, WikiLeaks' founder, and Guccifer 2.0, an online avatar believed to be part of the Russia's military intelligence arm.
Mr. Corsi did not provide more details, beyond saying that he was subpoenaed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in late August.
But he said talks with investigators recently had "blown up".
Russian Federation has repeatedly denied allegations that it meddled in the 2016 United States presidential election, insisting that it does not interfere in the internal affairs of other countries.
Michelle Obama stops at former high school; speaks with students
A group of students was surprised when they were told they were going to be guests at Obama's book launch event. I was like, "Oh my gosh, what am I going to say to her", said Sabrina Kimble, a freshman at the university.
Corsi said Monday that he had no prior knowledge of Wikileaks' plans and that he "figured out" on his own that Podesta's emails were going to be released. Moscow has denied any interference, while Trump has denied any collusion with Russian Federation and any obstruction of justice.
For months, many analysts have said they suspect that Stone will be the next person indicted by Mueller.
Corsi said Mueller's prosecutors have pressed him repeatedly on any ties to Assange, whom he says he has never met.
Trump has denied his campaign colluded with Moscow and has called the Mueller probe a "witch hunt".
Bowles remains Jets coach despite team’s struggles, bad loss
Despite opting for Barkley over Peterman in Sunday's game at the Jets, McDermott continued to stand by Peterman earlier Monday. Major changes soon might be afoot in the Meadowlands, but Bowles has at least another seven weeks to prepare for them.
Corsi's role in the investigation largely revolves around the possibility that he was an intermediary between Stone and WikiLeaks.
