On Monday, the former senior aide revealed a recording she'd made of the President phoning her on the day after she was sacked. She has cast herself as the Edward Snowden of the West Wing - one whose secretly recorded conversations, including one of White House chief of staff John Kelly firing her in the Situation Room, have riled administration officials, including Donald Trump.
Neither contained outwardly embarrassing language. 'OK, you'll be working at the White House, lots of responsibility.
What perhaps worries the Trump team most is they can't be sure what else she surreptitiously recorded.
Corden: "I wasn't sure the recording was real or not - until the part where Trump admits he doesn't know what's going on in the White House".
"Well, that's not true", Manigault Newman then says on the tape.

"She's home", he said. "She's alert, laughing, teasing, able to recognize people ", Tim Franklin revealed. Martin Luther King Jr . where she performed a stirring rendition of " Precious Lord, Take My Hand ".
Manigault Newman spends a great deal of time discussing the "cult of Trump" - its (theoretical) impact on a person.
Omarosa told CBS that she found it "ironic" that such high-level campaign and White House staffers were reacting in such a manner. In many ways, two former senior administration officials pointed out, what Omarosa is doing now is pure Trump.
"When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn't work out", Trump tweeted. The official declined to specify what specific legal steps were being considered. She is, for the moment, out-Trumping Trump, dominating the airwaves by making news with her White House tapes on Meet the Press and the Today show, while teasing more revelations to come.
If he doesn't have it in his vocabulary and never did, it's a wonder he needed Apprentice producer Mark Burnett to assure him no such tape exists before tweeting out his claim he doesn't use the slur.
The Situation Room was created by President John F. Kennedy after the Bay of Pigs disaster in 1961, according to a paper published on the Central Intelligence Agency, or CIA, website. However, the practice operates on the honor system and advisers are not searched before entering.
Ex-White House staff Omarosa Manigault releases tape of her firing
She later declined an offer to work on Trump's 2020 campaign and did not sign a confidentiality agreement. The Post obtained copies of what Manigault Newman said was the job offer and the companion agreement.
In her book, Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House, she said she had not signed a non-disclosure agreement.
Manigault Newman has said she was offered $15,000 to sign a non-disclosure agreement when she was sacked last Decemberthat was, "as harsh and restrictive as any I'd seen in all my years of television".
"I was not signed to a non-disclosure agreement to hush me up", Lotter said.
It was not clear exactly what he was referring to. He told the Associated Press he had "never heard of a more serious breach of protocol".
The president took to Twitter (after another recording surfaced of him appearing unaware Manigault Newman had been fired by Kelly) to claim that "Wacky Omarosa" is "vicious, but not smart".
Trump's tweets that said, "Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time". "Not only is this flat-out false (I've never heard such a thing), but Omarosa didn't even make an effort to call or email me to verify". But he clearly thought highly enough of her to give her a top post at his White House following his election. A source familiar with that agreement tells ABC News the difference between the previous agreement she signed and the new one was that this new agreement included Vice President Mike Pence and his family.
