Gmail on the Web will now display a risk warning prompt when it detects an email received from a potentially suspicious source.
The past few years haven't been kind to email. The "regular" Gmail users can try the new features under the Settings menu where an option of "Try new Gmail" will be available.
One of the most exciting new features is a "confidential mode" that prevents people from copying, forwarding, downloading and printing the emails you send them. The redesign will also see Gmail more integrated with other G Suite apps - like Calendar, Google Keep and later on, Docs and Sheets. Emails with sensitive information can be put in "confidential mode".
If you're a personal Gmail user, you can turn on the new version via the Settings in the top-right.
Watch The Longest At Bat In MLB History
A blister on his right middle finger forced him out of his start after just two innings Tuesday night against Boston. However, it looked to energize Belt, who had several hits - including a home in the Giants' 4-2 triumph.
The upshot of doing it this way means Google has been able to build some other clever functionality on top: These emails can now be set to expire, or you can revoke access to its contents (effectively the recipient is viewing the contents on a space that you control). This specific feature has been brought over from the Inbox for Gmail app.
Users who enable a "confidential" option when sending an email can time-limit its access to recipients and also require they enter a one-time passcode sent to their phones to read it. That might protect data even if the recipient's email account has been hijacked. "Gmail can also recommend when to unsubscribe from mailing lists". As you can probably guess from the name, the tool will help users who want to be extra cautious about how their emails are accessed.
Google has baked artificial intelligence into the new Gmail that will "intelligently (and subtly) nudge you" when it's time to respond to a message or prioritize something.
Have you got the new Gmail? Instead of simply showing you the standard paperclip in your inbox to signify that an email chain includes an attachment, the new Gmail now highlights the attachments right underneath the message preview in the inbox view.
So that's the new features.
No Criminal Charges Will Be Filed In Prince's Death
Metz says there may be speculation on how Prince got the pills, but he can not say conclusively that any individual enabled that. The bottle was found in Prince's bedroom and was photographed by police as part of the investigation into his death.
It's worth pointing out that many standard Gmail features aren't going anywhere.
Making sure you see the right emails amid all the clutter is important, especially for business users.
Google has announced a gradual transition Gmail on a new design with new features. Do you think confidential messages are a welcome addition?
Numerous new features come about as a result of the popularity of G Suite for businesses, with this update representing the first feature revamp since Google's apps became a serious alternative to Microsoft. Google launched a security center for G Suite in January, providing analytics to identify potential threats as well as best practices users can take to guard themselves against attacks.
