"Dinner's ready!" is about as common an exclamation as you'll hear in the average family household. Alternatively, you can use commands to prompt Alexa to make announcements in her own voice, TechCrunch reports. That is, you can speak into one Echo device and have the message broadcast to all the other ones on the same network.
In order to use the feature, just say something like "Alexa, announce that it's lunch time", and every Echo in the house will repeat the message. This means that if you're just looking for a way to make your home smarter, these bundles could be worth taking a look at which you can find on Amazon's website.
If customers also have the Alexa app they can be sent a summary of the top fixed, variable and tracker mortgage results.

Amazon's Alexa intelligent assistant can now summon a household for dinner thanks to a new feature called "Announcements", Fortune is reporting. You're in luck because now Amazon's Fire 7 and HD 8 tablets can now double as Alexa speakers.
The catch is that new feature now only works for "one-way announcements", meaning someone can use an Echo speaker to relay a message like "Dinner is ready" to other speakers, but no one else will be able to respond from the other Echo devices.
Echo users can now broadcast their voice from one device to all the others in their home. So be sure to take note of your current settings before you opt in for new features.
