The NBA on Wednesday unveiled its new "City" edition jerseys, the fourth and final new uniform design produced by Nike since the league began its apparel contract with the Swoosh before this season.
The uniforms will be used in select games for the remainder of the season. The plaid pattern is also a nod to the Northwest, which has never shied away from plaid as a fashion choice. On the shorts, the state of OH sits in the center of the waistband and the OH flag is underneath a bottom flap. When the flag is shown in full color, it represents "the forest that surrounds the city, the intersection of major rivers, local agriculture and [the] city center".
From top to bottom, the uniforms embody a racing spirit, including a vertical checkered racing stripe on the left side of the jersey, with the Pacers name tracking downwards.
Gaming Disorder added to list of 2018 diseases
In 2018, the World Health Organization (WHO) will officially add " gaming disorder " to its list of psychological illnesses. The WHO's classification means that doctors and insurance companies can recognize Gaming Disorder as a disease.
When Nike and the National Basketball Association formalized their partnership earlier this year, both brands focused on bringing change to game day.
The Blazers will debut their "City" uniforms on the court on January 31 against the Chicago Bulls at the Moda Center.
