Its Note 8 was meant to be its return to the Note moniker, however problems regarding its wireless charging have cropped up. Till then, it is better for Galaxy Note 8 users to not let their battery get drained out to 0%.
If you have a Note 8, be careful with completely draining the phone battery as you might encounter this problem, this is a big issue but at least the batteries are not exploding.
No arrest after passenger got on wrong flight
Teigen, who called the ordeal "a flight to nowhere", tweeted that the unauthorised passenger "must be so mortified". The airline did not immediately say why the wrong boarding pass was accepted.
Some owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 are reporting that their handset is dying once it reaches a 0 percent charge and won't come back to life. Samsung has already had trust issues with the consumers before. Users, mostly concentrated in the U.S., are reporting that their Galaxy Note 8 phablets have stopped charging and won't even start up after it has been fully drained.
The report also mentions that the problem is not restricted to a specific carrier or a specific batch of the devices. The issue has been reported on Reddit and later on Piunikaweb, firstly covered it.

As of now, nearly all Galaxy Note 8 phones from all the carriers including Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and Sprint are facing the same problem. Unfortunately, some of the units of the recently introduced Galaxy Note 8 smartphones have met with a battery related issue. Last year its batteries were a complete failure and this year too they have some issue. (Not like this is the first time it has ever died completely.) So I plugged it in and it showed a circle with a lightning bolt, but the red charging LED did not light up.
Samsung's response, or rather the lack of it, isn't exactly encouraging either. Completely dead. Phone still looks brand new because I bought a rugged case for it. I talked to Samsung customer support who told me to press different button combinations to reboot it/hard reset it- nothing worked, because none of the buttons are responsive either. It has never been dropped, put near water, NOTHING- it is in ideal condition.
